HALLWAY MATRIX

	Voice Level – Silence is Golden (0)
Own Their Actions	Watch where you are walking – face forward. If you drop something, pick it up, clean it up or tell an adult.
Work Responsibly	Use only a quiet voice. Walk on the right side of the hallway. If you are not with your class or an adult, you need a pass. Walk directly to where you need to go.
Learn Together	Remind friends to follow the rules. Be an example for others.
Show Respect	Stop and let others pass by if they need to. Keep hands, feet and materials to yourself.

BATHROOM MATRIX

	Voice Level – Spy Talk (1)
Own Their Actions	Clean up when finished. Report problems to your teacher.
Work Responsibly	Use only the amount of toilet paper/paper towels needed. Flush toilet. Wash hands. Turn water off. Put trash in trash cans.
Learn Together	Remind friends to follow the rules and clean up.
Show Respect	Wait for your turn patiently. Give others personal space and privacy. Respect the school’s property.

Work Responsibly	Make sure all of your materials are picked up and returned after you use them. Use the recess equipment for its intended purpose.
Learn Together	Politely remind others who are not following the directions or playground rules. Help one another to play fair and follow the rules so everyone has fun.
Show Respect	Stop and let others pass by if they need to. Keep hands, feet and materials to yourself.

DISMISSAL MATRIX

Own Their Actions	Keep your hands, feet and materials to yourself. Stay in line when getting onto the bus.
Work Responsibly	Walk in line with your classmates. Stop and wait for the Crossing Guard to allow you to cross the street.
Learn Together	Politely remind others to: walk and line up safely.
Show Respect	Listen to directions. Use positive comments to the adults helping you to cross the street safely. Stay in line for your bus when waiting to leave.

CAFETERIA MATRIX

Own Your Actions	Clean up any food or trash that you drop. Pick up trash at the end of lunch. Throw trash in appropriate bins. Stack lunch trays neatly.
Work Responsibly	Walk slowly and carry your tray with both hands. Stay in your seat and eat quietly.
Learn Together	Remind friends of proper manners for eating using kind words. Remind friends to follow the rules and clean up. Model appropriate behaviors.
Show Respect	Wait in the lunch line quietly with your hands and feet to yourself. Raise your hand if you need help or need to leave your seat.

BUS MATRIX

Own Their Actions	Keep your feet and arms in your own seat. Wait for the bus to stop moving before standing up. No eating on the bus.
Work Responsibly	Use a quiet voice to talk. Sit on the seat. Clean up before you leave.
Learn Together	Be an example for others. Take turns entering and exiting the bus. Tell the bus driver.
Show Respect	Use appropriate language. Follow the safety directions.
